The SBA 8(a) program is a nine-year program for firms owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, opening access to sole-source and set-aside federal contracts. PMP has been an active 8(a) participant since November 1, 2020, with a program term running through October 31, 2029.

The HUBZone program supports small businesses in Historically Underutilized Business Zones, adding a 10% price evaluation preference and set-aside eligibility on federal contracts. PMP earned its HUBZone certification on August 15, 2024, based on its qualifying Kansas City location and workforce.
